Hi I’m Ali
I create under the umbrella of Bright Button Creative. By day I am a corporate creative, developing brands, generating assests to meet marketing KPI’s – you know, the business. In my free time I paint– it keeps me curious, grounded, and creatively flexible. Over the past few years, it has informed how I problem-solve, approach storytelling, and think expansively in my design work. My goal is to paint as much as I can, when I can, and if the two cross over even better! In the end I’m passionate about telling stories that speak to the moments that make life worth living.
The Work
Most of my body of work is my attempt to capture nature’s beauty and peace I’ve discovered while studying the things that inspire me. I’m drawn to capturing still-life, intimate landscapes, nature, and flora and fauna. I mostly work with acrylic but dabble with gouache and watercolor.
In a perfect world, design and fine art could be housed together. Closing the gap between the digital and physical. It's a big pie in the sky idea; creating a brand and then taking it a step further, crafting for a space that still holds that essence of identity while also creating that awe.
